Projects of note
Refurbishment of Ise Valley Pavilion by Kettering Borough Council
Project management in 2004/2005; the pavilion had been damaged in an arson attack.
The appointment entailed the following.
- agreeing a design brief with the Client.
- assembling and co-ordinating a design team comprising a Chartered Building Surveyor (who undertook the architectural design and the planning supervision) and a Mechanical/Electrical Engineer.
- preparing and agreeing the value of a financial claim with the Client’s insurers.
- selecting suitable tenderers.
- preparing tender documents.
- negotiating client led post tender variations and recommending a contract award to the client.
- preparing contract documents.
- post contract administration to final certificate.
- valuation of variations, interim accounts and final accounts.
Upper Crust Bakery, Woburn Sands, Phase 1
Full Pre and Post Contract Quantity Surveying in 2008 and ongoing; for the construction of two new flats and associated site works on a restricted site.
The appointment entailed the following.

- Tender Documents (Schedule of Works and Preliminaries).
- Liaison with Designers and CDM consultant.
- Interviews with two lowest tenderers.
- Post contract quantity surveying to final account.
